Headline: FIRSTNAME AND FIRSTNAME GET ENGAGED! CONGRATULATIONS!

Sub-headline: Ireland Celebrates the Happy News

Story:

It came as little surprise to the Irish public when FEMALEFULLNAME and MALEFULLNAME finally announced their engagement. ‘It was inevitable,’ was a typical comment on the streets of TOWN/CITY today. ‘They are such a fairytale couple,’ someone added.

First it was Beyoncé and Jay-Z, then Meghan and Harry and now it’s MALEFIRSTNAME and FEMALEFIRSTNAME who are set to become the world’s hottest couple of the year.

When interviewed this morning on RTÉ One by Ray D'Arcy, MALEFIRSTNAME admitted, ‘From the first time I saw her, I knew this day would eventually come. I’m the luckiest man in the world.’ FEMALEFIRSTNAME added, ‘I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with MALEFIRSTNAME, but first there’s a wedding dress to think of!’

Wedding arrangements are being kept a closely guarded secret at this time, but no doubt it will be a star-studded event. Hello and OK magazines are already believed to have made offers of over €1,000,000 to cover the event.

Bono, was among the first to congratulate the happy couple. Speaking from his home in Killiney he said, ‘Ali and I are very happy for them. Only last week we were having dinner with them, and Ali commented on how great a couple they make together.’

We at The Irish Gazette would also like to wish MALEFIRSTNAME and FEMALEFIRSTNAME the best of luck for their future together.
